Nautique and Stereo Rookie, Help me build a system!

Hey guys, just recently picked up my first Nautique ('03 206 Air SE) and loving every minute! The sound system is, well completely stock and lacking in performance in general as i can tell some of the speakers are beginning to have distortion!

I plan to hopefully do this sound system upgrade in 2 phases to help me budget a little better. I have a great deal on a W7 sub to go in the boat, but other than that I have not purchased or decided on anything.

I looking at first phase: Replace all inner speakers (6 - 6.5's) add a sub (more than likely additional amp?) and upgrade the headunit to something that is more acceptable of newer technology (ipod, smartphone, bluetooth etc...)

    Second Phase: Tower speakers

I've basically laid out all i have even began to think about so far. What suggestions or directions including installation, size, brand series etc... do you guys have?

Im not looking to provide sound for a cove party haha, just something mid range and well worth the money!

Im all ears fellas, let me know your ideas and suggestions!

As far as head unit I went with the Clairion CMS2, I love it. It has 3 sets of preouts, Bass/treble settings (meaning you are not locked into pre-set eq settings) It has Bluetooth, iPod, USB connections. I love my JL audio 6.5's however many will say Wetsounds. I have 6 of them powered by the Wetsounds HT6. Love the in boat sound in my 210.

    Just 2 cents.
