So I have
(6) Polk MOMO MMC650's in the boat 80watts RMS each 4ohms INBOATS
(4)Polk MOMO MMC690's on the tower wired in Parallel so 2ohms each speaker with 100Watts RMS TOWER
(1)Polk MOMO MM2104 10 inch 4ohm sub at 300watts rms
Was tossing around the PPI Phantom Series
or the Soundstream Tarantula series. I had full Wetsounds setups over the past years (Most recent (2) Syn 4's running 12inch sub, (4)XS650's and 2 Rev 8's) but my stereo use has been toned down a bit since selling the boat with the Wetsounds System. I am leaning towards just upping the factory amps vs. gutting an entire setup. The Polks are very competent, but I will be taking a huge hit on the tower keeping (4) 6X9's up there. Both PPI's are Class D, but the Soundstream (5) channel has an AB and a D amp inside Any downside to this vs the PPI 900.5? The wattage is little better than the PPI. Any other Midrange amps I may be missing? Any thoughts. As just looking to power everything nicely.
