G23 Tower Speaker Set Up's

Would greatly appreciate to hear what people have done for tower speaker upgrades on their G23 with a Z5 bimini. Our boat is only fitted with a single set of the standard Nautique horns and I would like to replace the set up with aftermarket vs. just adding another set of the horns which I think for the price is not very good value and will not really improve the sound out on the water. cheers Gerry

I'm interested in seeing what gets posted as I have a G23 arriving by the end of the year. I do not have the Z5 bimini but suspect that may not matter.

Hey JoeA, I spent a bit of type reviewing all the pages in this part of the forum and picked up a bunch of good info. Thanks to everyone who has posted with their set ups. Even found some stuff on making the Z5 work back in Jan 2013. Would still appreciate to hear from anyone with recent upgrades who have the Z5 or not for JoeA as well. cheers Gerry

I am running Roswell Neptunes on the tower this year, and I love them. I have Roswell Marine Audio throughout my boat, and am very happy with it.

I have rev 10s mounted using the factory mounting holes. You will need to get a kit from z5 that drops the Bimini a few inches

I'm surprised more people haven't chimed in here. If you want to swing for some WetSounds speakers you can fit 6 REV 10s. I'm not sure if you can swing a pair of REV 410s with the Z5 but that's also worth a shot.

How about a Wet Sounds REV 3-SOME setup powered by a SYN-6 amp . . . Again, not sure about how it would fit with the Z5.

I don't think there would be enough room to clear the rope holder below the tow point for the Rev410 to fit without custom mounting that would more than likely space it even further down making the Z5 have to move down that much more.
