    Amplifier alternatives for Rev10s?

Hey guys...thinking about adding some Rev10s to my tower. What are the amplifier options that produce the power needed for these monsters?

    Thanks!

You will be very happy with a Arc Audio 600.2.

One HD750,1 for two Rev10s? Or one each? Thanks!

Single HD750/1 for a pair of Rev-10. 2 ohm load at the amp. nets 375W rms.

^^^^ Certainly has wattage, but the sound quality is lacking as compared to other quality amps.

I read on another forum that some are using the PPI 900.4 to power two Rev10s. I'd be interested in your opinion(s) on that amp for this application...thanks.

The PPi Phantom series 900.4 is basically the same guts as the Polk. They use an open-tooling manufacturer. Ive demo'd both brands with a few different HLCDs, with similar mediocre results as compared to to Wet Sounds, JL, Arc and other amps.

After the JL Audio rep told me that the HD 750/1 no longer works with the Rev10s, I went with an Arc Audio 600.2. Thanks for all of the help!

Don't worry about the HD750/1 being able to drive the Rev10s. It's fine and widely used.
JL Audio is very conservative and they made a change in the full range vs wide range status. But they have been tested and the top end response still exceeds what you can hear from any tower speaker.
