Run Another Battery or No ?

I have just installed a brand new Optima battery. I currently have self powering bazooka tuble behind the driver's kickboard. I am going to replace the factory clarion speakers with the Polk Momo's. I am also going to add a pair of tower speakers (hopefully with the polk momo's if I can find a pair at a good price). To run all the speakers I'm going to install a 4 channel amp. I use my stereo quite a bit while we are turned off just relaxing on the lake. Should I look at installing another battery or will the optima and the marine priority start added to the battery sufice?

If you do much listening without the engine running then I would highly recommend a second battery, probably dedicated to the stereo system.

I run two amps, one for my sub and one for the tower speakers (the boat speakers are currently just run off my head unit amp)....I run my speakers system for a couple hours at a time with out starting the engine. I use an optima Blue Top. The boat has started great every time so far....but if you got the battery, time, & cash, then i would go for it! If you looking for tower speakers with polk check out www.audioformz.com they don't have the momo's but you can buy the enclosures with out speakers at a sweet price and they look great! FYI
