"marine" speakers needed?????

If I replace my 6.5"s they will get wet sometimes but do I need to use "marine" grade speakers? what if I put car audo speakers in there instead? its freshwater. thanks

If you use poly cone speakers you are probably fine. Marine speakers may or may not have corrosion resistant frames/magnet structures.
