question? a buddy of a buddy has 2- blaupunkt 15" subs in a box with a power acustik amp..selling for 100.oo..is this ok to use in the ski locker of a 1994 sn..i have an additional boat battery(1000 cranking amps) i could use so it doesnt kill the battery..already have a clarion cd player with clarion 6.5 around boat..they are not marine grade subs or amp..wworth buying? if not, what should i buy with the least amount of money..looking for some bass and to push the 6.5's for a lil more sound :?:

I would say that stuff is pretty low quality compared to what most guys are running, but why not? See if he will let you try it before you buy it? Power Acoustic amps are way over rated on the power side, that amp is probably more like 100-200 true watts. With amps you pretty much get what you pay for. I would also guess those subs are paper, they will self destruct if they get wet. Buy some wet-look from parts express, that will help them survive splashes.
Ski Locker? I don't think I would put subs in the ski locker.
