Speaker Cut-Outs on Gunnels

I want to replace the two current speakers with a pair of Polk db675's that I have already purchased. My goal is to get all of the speaker grills inside the boat to match. However, the cut-out is too big. Any suggestions on how to downsize the hole?

How much bigger is the hole? Any pics? Is this an upholstered section or straight onto glass? What is the o.d. of the speaker grill (polk) vs the size of the hole?

Cut yourself some plex rings to reduce the hole, add some LEDs while you are at it...
