Sirius Satellite Radio in '05 210

Okay...I know this has been discussed on here several times before, but I'm still confused...

I got my brother a satellite receiver and subscription for his car for Christmas, and have now decided it's about the coolest thing since ipods.

I know my '05 210 TE has a Sirius "ready" receiver, but what does that mean? Do I have to buy something else to get it to work, or do I just subscribe?

    Thanks in advance.

The Clarion deck accepts a Serius module which costs about $100. The antena plugs into the module. Then you'll need another subscription (from the car). I don't have one but I think I got this right.

You got it right my friend! The module is actually the sat receiver, and harness's into the head unit. Sat ready means the head unit will control and diplay sat functions. Regards!! Mike 8-)

Thanks all...sounds like a good birthday present to ask for...

My birthday is in April...right before lake season begins here in OK.
