    Hey Steven (m3the01)!

    I had another thought for your problem about a big voltage drop on those hard hits... get a 1 ferad capacitor. You shoudn't have any problem if you get one. Not sure how much they cost, as I haven't looked at them in a LONG time.

    Is that different then a normal stereo capacitor?

      Yes. It's a lot bigger. It is external from your head unit and amp. You shouldn't see any drop on your meter if you have one of those.

      There are some. I'm sure you can shop around some more and find some even better priced ones.
