Read these forums for yrs, this is my first time to post something. I've seen many 210's around my yr range with a pair of rev 410's wetsounds on the tower... I'm having trouble getting mine to mount. The location that they need to be won't work. I can get them up there, but once tightened the speakers are pointed too far up, and are cocked in a funny angle. I was wondering what everyone else did to mount them? Special clamps? Swivel clamps? Spacers? I know this can be done, and I'm looking for a clean set up, not rigged just to make it work. Any help from y'all would be much appreciated! Thank you

Whats preventing the speaker from being tilted down to a more natural angle, is it the towers rear legs? Swivel clamps really help on a tower bar that has some radius to it, but will do little for anything else. The TC3-S clamps do put the pod a little lower than the fixed clamp though.
Do you by chance have a pic of them mounted as you describe?

It is the towers rear legs. Also the support that won't allow me to slide the speaker in more to allow for clearance. I discussed this issue w wetsounds today, they haven't heard of it before, but they did suggest the swivel clamps. I was hoping someone else might have gone through this before to give me a for sure answer on whether or not the swivel clamps would work. I think the clamps are $300 a pair. Didn't want to spend the money if I didn't have to. I don't have pics, I should've taken some, the speakers are back off.. I will see if I can remount at least 1 for a pic to further describe this issue.

What about an aluminum spacer between the pod and clamp to give some additional drop? Or a fabricated plate that would allow for an off set mounting of the clamp thats already butt against the front to rear support bars? Allows the one clamp to stay where it is, while the pod and 2nd clamp are moved in a little.

I'm going to assume this is on a FCT2 tower, which would be like mine. It is very tight, but my Rev410s have fixed clamps and fit without any weird angles. There might be 1/8" gap between the outer edge of the pods and the rear tower leg. That is with the outer clamp on each pod as close to the outboard bars that run front to rear as possible. I don't have any pics that show the gaps well, but this will give you an idea of how close it is and the angle they are mounted.
EDIT: Are you mounting to the front or rear tube?

MLA- the spacer idea that you have is a definite option, and one that I will pursue if I can not find a proper clamp to clear. WS told me today that the swivel clamp is roughly 3/4" longer. Hopefully that's about all I need, if not, the spacer is the next option.
Core-rider- I have studied these pictures on another rev410 forum. This is how I know it is possible to mount these on this model tower. Side note, I like how your iron cross has been turned, I've never been a fan of the iron cross, or the chrome.. I hope u don't mind, but I will probably copy that move. I love the boat, I've always wanted an all blacked out Nautique, and hear I am with my all white boat haha. So my speakers are white, with blacked out grills. We do indeed have the same tower. And as I've studied your pics, and I could be wrong but it does appear that u have the 2012 yr range swivel on the outer clamp of your pod. That is what gave me the idea of adding swivels. Leaving the inner clamp fixed and the outer swivel, I was hoping that would clear things up. The new style swivels do not have that "sprocket" thing on top. Again, I could be wrong on this, and if you indeed have all fixed mounts and I was mistaken, it's kinda back to the drawing board with either paying the money and trying the longer swivel clamps, or fabricating a spacer like MLA mentioned. I will attach some poor quality photos that I screenshot on my phone of your set up to show what I was talking about.8 Photos

All of my clamps are fixed. I guess there was just enough variance in the towers to cause fitment issues. Believe me I was worried for a moment. At first I tried mounting mine closer together, but because of those same bars running bow to stern the speakers would have overlapped one another. That made me move them out and that caused some worries for a few minutes as well. It sounds like your best/cheapest option is building a spacer.
I'm like you and don't really like the Maltese cross look so I turned them and painted them black.... Well for obvious reasons! You can turn yours too and I will be expecting my royalty check in the mail soon.Jason

Hahah awesome! My buddy and I did it real late we we're both wiped out and needed rest. He's our local wS dealer here, I might go back and play w it some more and see if I can find that sweet spot. Sounds like it was in your case a tight fit but should be found. I will try that, and maybe go w the swivel clamps, as I can always return them if they don't work, then do spacerS. Just wanted that stock finish.. On a different note. Our boats are very similar, I've dialed in the wake for wake boarding, but what's your sweet spot for surfing on the port side. I understand that mine, and I'm assuming yours has a better surf wake of starboard, just curious if you dialed it in on port?

I can probably count on one hand the times I've surfed behind my boat. It just isn't a big draw to me. I'd rather wake in rough water than surf honestly, which is usually what I do. I've only ever used the starboard side when surfing, but I never do anything special. Just weight that side, move people to that side, and whatever I get is it.
Good luck with the speakers!Jason

Thanks guys for all the help, I will probably try the swivel clamps on one side, if that doesn't work, spacers. I will send pics and as soon as I get it resolved, I'll reply back w what I did for future people.

Swivels worked! Although I need to replace the inner clamps with swivels as well to drop them down. I didn't think they would be cocked that bad. So I'll get another pair of swivels to even them out, dismount them and send the grills and clamps out to paint. I will post a pic of the finished product upon completion. For now here's one pic. Just keep in mind that they're loose in here and not adjusted so they look really funny.1 Photo
