Do the DB651 or MM651 come as the base/standard in-boat speaker with the 2015 G23? Or is it a different model speaker? Thanks...

I never looked at Level III (or any factory stereo upgrades as I'll be using Wetsounds), but the build sheet for a G21 says "Levell III includes Zone Control and Additional Amplifiers"
Given how Nautique seems to offer stereo components, I doubt the in boat speakers would change.Previous boats:

Figured I'd follow up even though this is a little old. I pulled one of the cockpit speakers out of my G23---it's labeled Polk Audio MM651 2 ohm/100W.
The stereo package I have is the base package--no upgrades.
FWIW, my tower came wired for four speakers plus some additional wiring (I'm assuming the additional wiring is for the lights on the OEM speakers--perhaps they could be used for LEDs on after market speakers).Previous boats:

@JoeA--I pulled mine in the garage yesterday afternoon...so the MM651 is definitely OEM (well, at least in my boat with the base stereo). If it's helpful, I can send you a photo of the back of the speaker--it shows various numbers including the model.

I assume that the front cover pulls off somehow, but never having seen it, I am somehow worried I am going to break a tab on the speaker cover. How do I remove the screen with the bars on it so that I can get the speaker out if I want to?
I am stoked to increase the power from the factory to get the MM651 to sing. If it is really 2 Ohm, then that is interesting since 2 pair are wired in parallel from the 1 amp that I have now...which means that amp is 1 Ohm stable? That would seem to be a little unusual. I will get down there with a voltmeter to see in the next few days. Sooner if someone can tell me how to pull the screen. After running all of the wiring for my boat, I am tired of crawling around and reaching into compartments.

Though I didn't look before I had my stereo installed, I can't imagine MM651s are installed parallel. The manual for the Polk 5000.5 (the stock amp for the in-boats and sub) specifies 2 ohm minimum on the full range channels and 1 ohm minimum on the sub channel.
As an aside, my MM651 speakers say 100w/2ohm on the back of them....but Polk Audio's website (and everywhere else I look) says 2.7ohm.Previous boats:
