Venting the sub / storage compartment G23

I'm looking for ideas for venting the sub / storage compartment on a G23. I'll likely install a WS-XXX (12") in a sealed or vented box in or near the location of the stock sub.

My question, though, is how to vent the storage under the observer seat? Any ideas and/or photos would be appreciated.

Roswell is unresponsive. I emailed a week or two ago about the sub box that Jeff has posted pictures of...no reply.

There are two options imo and the question is do you want to keep the trash can? For years I have vented the walk thru panel, works great but you lose the trash can. This method allows for a larger vent with many different options to customize. The other option is in the pic already posted. Advantage here is a more oem look and maintaining the trash can. I don't think you could go wrong either way just depends on what you prefer.

I think those links are wrong...neither point to a thread about the topic at hand.

But, to your point, I'd prefer to keep the trash can as it looks convenient. On my 2008 210, I vented to the walk through and it worked well...but I didn't give up anything to do it.

@reeder: how did you fabricate your vent...is it metal...plastic...?

Nautique parts has the roswell vent in stock. White lake is installing one on my G 23 now. They are suppose to deliver it end of the week, and I will take a pic and post then.

Found the instruction manual of the 2015 RMA compartment vent on Roswell's website but not the compartment vent itself...interesting ;-)!

Thanks for posting the photos, nauty220.

The vent shown in the instructions looks perfect, but I'd like to see a photo, know what kind of material, color, measurements, etc.

Too bad Roswell doesn't show the vent...nor responds to email. Perhaps I'll give them a call, though I hate getting information via phone because it typically sinks a lot of time.

No pictures available of any online shops, the onyly thing I found is the info below :

Roswell did the planet Nautique boat and Jeff has posted many pics. Here is one I found and I am assuming this is the vent in question. Maybe Jeff could post a close up or better pic
