Got 4 Exile sxt9's coming and looking at placing them on the rear bar. Trying to find the best way to wire them to the back bar with the wire still coming up the front port leg. After I get the holes drilled I will be welding the old holes up before having the tower powder coated. I have 2 bolts on each side of tower that I have no clue what were they for? Are they important or can I weld those shut too.

As far as I understand, there is not a path from the front tube through the oval bars to the back tube. I think going that route would require drilling and plugging some holes. You'd probably want to run some high temperature wires through that tube before you plug the holes, to make it possible to pull the real wires through after powdercoating.
My speaker wire is run to the front tube where it exits and goes to my speakers. I can't remember if exile speakers need the wire run through the clamp.
I never really looked into this, but when I was running wires it seemed like the oval tube the board racks are mounted on was open to both the front and the aft tube. That might be a possible route that doesn't require drilling/plugging more holes.Last edited by beach; 03-08-2015, 08:38 AM.
