Anyone have experience with the "upgraded" Level 3 stereo option, on a G boat? Is it worth the $2k upcharge?

Zone control and tweeters on the dash is nice but not worth $2,273 list price. I have listened to the Level III and it was decent, but not impressive. I'd opt for an aftermarket EQ for $300 and call it good.

Not trying to hijack; somewhat related, does anyone know if zone control is a software update? ie put in a disk or chip and add the feature to a link system that doesn't have it currently?Comment

Dealer told me: If you add Level III Sound system:
Adds two additional Amps (4 total)
Adds tweeter on Helm
Adds module for zone control
Same head unit
