    Wetsounds instal

Hey everybody, looking for some wiring advice when it comes to replacing all 6 interior speakers wet WS-650 RGB,420sq equalizer, a new 10" sub, HT4 and HT1.

It wasn't on my list of things to do but a local shop was offering everything I purchased for 50% off. Hard to say no!!

One question in particular is how to wire the RGB on the speakers. Do I need a remote to go between the colors, or does it depend on how it's wired.

Any and all advice would be much appreciate.

    Boat is a 2002 SAN

    Thanks

RGB LEDS require a controller, most of which have a wireless remote and a 4 conductor wire to go from speaker to speaker, ect to controller. if you only want to utilize one of the 3 primary colors, no controller needed, just a switch and a 2 conductor circuit.

Is it possible, safe or even recommended to wire all the port interior speakers to 1-channel? Same for starboard of course.

So you want to put 3 speakers on 1 channel? You can do that. You just need to do a creative wiring so that you get the right resistance. If you just run them together in parallel, you will end up getting 1 Ohm and your HT4 won't do that. MLA will probably chime in, but I amp pretty sure you run 2 of them in parallel and the 3rd in series, which will give you an acceptable resistance load.

With a 4 chnl amp and 3 pair of speaker, there is no need to wire 3 speakers to one chnl. As TRR indicated, it can be safely done with a parallel/series configuration, but its less than ideal.

MLA, with a 4 chnl amp what would be the best configuration? That is, if I can't find an additional amp.
