The alpine pdx-4.100 http://alpine-usa.com/product/view/pdx-4100m is stable at 2 ohm with 100 w rms per channel. You could run two speakers in series on each channel and have plenty of headroom with the 60 w rms speakers to keep the gain down to a mimimum. I am running two pdx's in mine and couldn't be happier. If you are need to add a sub channel, the pdx-5 will add the sub channel with 75 w rms to each pair of cockpit speakers. JL makes a comparable unit as well. Neither is really budget friendly, but both are bulletproof and compact.
I know this isn't the response you want to hear, but any cheaper recommendations? If not, I will pull the trigger on the Kicker. But even it is really out of my budget.
Thanks for the recommendations. That gave me enough information to look at other amps as well. Ended up ordering a Polk PA660.4. Could not beat $79.99 for a refurb through Polk on eBay. At that price, Ill order another if it dies.
Now, where to find some budget 6.5" tower cans? Ha

Wow! I never though to look there. if you can remember, when it shows up let us know how it turns out. At $80 you can beat that and I am not looking at building a competition stereo, just play some decent sounding tunes.

That's pretty much how I feel. Hopefully I'll get it wired up next weekend.
