I have a 2014 G23 with all new XS-650 interior speakers (3 pair), 1 set of rev 10 towers, 2-sd6's, and I have two 12" Alpine Type X subs, but they are not mounted in the same box. One is in front of the garbage can, and the other is below observers seat (both located in same observers seat compartment)… I'm looking for the best opinion on how to wire amps, which speakers to which channels, and how to wire 4 ohm dual voice coil subs not in the same box and three feet apart??? I will try and get pics soon, but won't be back by the boat for a couple days...

Wait a minute . . . aren't you the guy who posted this (G23 Roswell Enclosure)?
"Matt! Thanks for the great words about Action Watersports. I'm a partner with them on our new Colorado store! We have been doing a lot of custom installs on G's this year and I can give you a few great tips...
Building a rectangle sub enclosure in front of the garbage can to save money, and is hardly noticeable, but agree your Roswell box is a definitely an upgrade from that!
I like both SD and MHD amplifiers, we carry both in stock and use them depending on customers preference. Some people know JL, some know WetSounds better
As for swapping out the Polk unit for a Clarion, there is no advantage. In all honesty, neither is a true high end receiver, but both work great. If you were to switch from Polk to Clarion, you'd actually be losing features like Bluetooth and Zone Control. Transom remotes are different too, you can go from a polk to a Clarion, because the mounting hole on the clarion is larger than the polk, but not vice versa...
If you have anymore questions, or want a deal on more audio equipment send me a message. I always give Action boat buyers incredible deals on after market products and watersports gear! Bonus is there would be no tax to ship to California! Please send me an email if you need anything… Nick@actionrideco.com
If you are still looking for information about wiring power and ground to batteries, send me a message as well and I will have my tech get back to you..."
And you need help hooking up an amp???!!?? Why don't you just ask your "tech"

We are off work until Tuesday morning, I was bored last night, and there are always a couple ways to skin a cat! I just wanted other opinions, before I see how he wants to do it. Just because he is an inboard tech with years of stereo install experience, doesn't mean he is an expert on WetSounds amps and speakers! It seems like there are plenty of guys here that have the time to spend researching every detail of every component, and I was hoping one of them may chime in. Not sure why you wasted the time to respond, when it didn't help anyone, but thanks anyways
