    Remote audio in a 2006 211 w/ CMD4 Clarion

So - Short of ripping/replacing my head unit and remote (to the tune of probably 700+), I'd like to find a temporary solution for the summer. What I'd really like is to be able to plug my iPod Nano into the RCA, plug in power, and some how mount a wireless remote to the dash with 3m tape, just for the purpose of being able to change the song and increase/decrease the volume.

Anybody seen/done anything like this? If I *HAVE* to I can use an iPhone with bluetooth to advance the song, but I'd prefer the wireless to come through the charge cable (30-pin) adapter.

    Anybody seen something like this?

Just go buy a Fusion BT-100 Bluetooth module on Amazon for $35. I will plug into your head unit Aux RCA cable and then connect the unit's positive and negative wire. Put the source on the Clarion to Aux and you should be set!

That only gets me partially there - I'ma actually 100% content with having my phone/ipod safely tucked away in the glove box, what I'd really like is just a way to control (skip, volume, play, pause) from the helm, without having to upgrade to a CMD5/CMD*

Check out the Wetsounds bluetooth volume control http://www.nautiqueparts.com/bluetoo...wetsounds.aspx it works pretty good other than speed for adjusting the volume up or down. Press the nob in to play or pause, hold the nob in in order to go into pairing mode. Turn and release to skip back or forward and turn and hold to turn the volume up or down. All it needs is power and ground and RCA's to output the source to the head unit. You can use the bulky bracket to surface mount it under the helm or remove it and drill a hole to flush mount it in a panel.
