    Added Bluetooth to stock stereo

I just posted about this in a different (unrelated) thread, but thought others might want this as well. I have a 2006 SANTE with no Bluetooth on the stock stereo. I hated the cable-attached iphone/ipod and always reaching over to the other side to change songs so I did some research and bought this to add Bluetooth: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It was easy to install and works great so far. It does NOT auto-connect to a phone on power up and you have to re-attach it from the phone (not re-pair). This method allows you to pair several phones and you pick which one is going to play and when. I thought it was weird at first, but have come to prefer it.

Many of us have the exact same Bluetooth unit on our older systems. I just put it on mine and it is great with amazing range out to say 50 + feet or more.

I added this last night to my stereo. Works really well from what I can tell so far.

Just ordered the one on Amazon.
Where did you mount it? Was it hard to install? Any tips?

Tough to beat the JL Audio MBT-RX Bluetooth module. Has the latest of every BT technology. Odin at Earmark Marine sells it for $39 before the PN forum discount.

Cybox from Roswell was $90 from the dealer and I believe it will only connect one device at a time. Disappointing.

I recently installed this in my glove box. Works great, provides a couple extra USB ports for charging, and under $20.
