    Bluetooth - - Roswell Cybox

Anyone familiar with this device? We recently had it installed in our 13' Sport and can't figure out the volume level. At max volume it's still quite compressed...if i switch to the radio or cd it will nearly makes your ears bleed! I've inquired with some local dealers, but no solutions yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated...

Check your phone to make sure the Bluetooth or Media volume is turned up.

Welcome to the world have compressed and then compressed audio again. It is not likely that you will be able to compare a Bluetooth signal from a phone or other devise to a CD or Radio as the music was compressed when it was downloaded onto your phone and compressed again when it is sent over via Bluetooth.

I just installed one as well and noticed the same thing. I had to turn the head unit and my phone volume way up.

I don't need to hear this. I just had one put in, but have not tried it yet. The reviews I read didn't sound bad.

I decided to rewire it. Much more simple now. I mounted it it next to the tower amp and wired it to this amps main power supply and the remote turn on. It is working well so far. You do have to crank the volume but it does sound fine. I admit to not being an audiophile, but so far am pleased. Here is a pic of my how I hooked it up. Hopefully correctly.

Thank you for the input. Couple of updates:

                1) If you pull the cover off the cybox there is a swtich you can slide up or down that will affect the volume
                2) Depending on your head-unit, you will want to adjust the volume sensitivity for aux inputs.

*These two changes made a huge difference in the volume levels. Hope this helps...
