no sound but power unless nav lights are on

I NEED some help on this one Ive been searching for the problem for months. 6 interior Rockford Fosgate 6.5" all wired to a clarion 1000watt 6 channel amp and 2 Rockford Fosgate 8" tower speakers wired to a JL JX360 2 channel amp. Both power and ground directly to the battery, remote wires to the head unit (Clarion m303). Worked great for a summer until 1 day the speakers cut out and from the on they haven't worked unless I turn my nav lights on. The head unit and both amps are getting power but make no noise until I hit the nav lights button and then there's a loud pop and everything works great again. Tried connecting head unit power, remote and ground directly to battery to bypass dash circuit board and it still wouldn't work without the nav lights. I am completely out of ideas. Any help is appreciated, thank you so much

It almost sounds like that you have a nav light wire melted to a stereo (head unit) power wire. I would start with head unit and trace all wires to speakers and amp.

Did you check your remote on wire going from your head unit to your amps? If not, try using a short wire jumping your +12V on your amp to the remote on to see if the stereo comes on.

Everything removed from the dash buss and factory wiring harness. That means the source unit switched B+, constant B+, and ground. Temporarily get these from one battery only, the exact same battery that one amplifier is connected to. Use only one amplifier for now. No power antenna wire used. No remote turn-on wire used. No illumination wire used. Temporarily disconnect any remote controller.
Amplifiers have three power connections of concern. Main power. Main ground. Remote turn-on trigger. Go directly to the same battery as the source unit. Temporarily jumper the amplifier turn-on trigger to the main power wire.
Everything gets fused.
Make sure that the single amplifier will turn on with AND without the RCA cables connected.
We've simplified everything with the absolute minimum connections to operate. I'm confident that under these conditions the nav lights will have zero impact on the stereo operation.
Now you can integrate the elements of the permanent installation one at a time until you see a behavior change. Then it becomes easy to focus on that change.
