where to put amp in 95 sport nautique

I am putting in a sub in my 95 sport nautique and custom made a box that first perfect under the dash. Problem is that there is now no room to put an amp under there and and not finding any good locations that will fit the amp. Anyone put an amp somewhere in a boat like mine? Would it work best to glue a board to the hull under the carpet and attach the amp to that either on the drivers or passenger side? What type of glue or adhesive would work good for that?

How large is the amp and box? Can you mount it to the backside of the sub box?

Epoxy some blocks under the observer side and then attach your amp board to them. I used some 3x3 sample pieces of composite decking, and it worked out fine.

The amp is 13"x11". What kind of epoxy do you suggest that will glue a board connected to fiberglass

Brttkrz do you have a pic of that enclosure? I have a 94 and am doing the same thing. Do you have a second battery?

Why not mount the amp directly to the sub box?

Otherwise building an amp wall inside your observers storage area is pretty simple.

I glued a board to the hull on the drivers side under the dash and mounted the amp to that. There is not room on my box to mount the amp to the box. I have not found a good spot to put a second battery yet but am considering putting it behind my sub box. After I took out the board that was there before I see there is enough room to put a battery there. How easy does a second batter need to be accessed?

Weird. When thread popped up yesterday it didn't have all the responses. Mounting that amp wall was best solution for sure and really pretty simple.
