Wires won't go thru all the way to back bar on FCT1 Gen 4 tower?

Wow, started my project on my Exile Audio XM9's for my tower on a 2006 SANTE 210 and realized that I can't fish wire to the back bar from the thin flat cross bars. the original nautique speakers had a hole drilled from the middle flat cross bars right before the back bar which was fine for speakers that you connect on the outside back of the can. My XM9 speakers are designed to hide the wire within the clamp. So I had to drill a hole and sit the clamp right over the top of the hole and mount the speaker. Started my project already and didn't even think if the wire would be able to be fished from the thinner crossbars to the rear back bar. Help...

im pretty sure that is a closed weld. meaning the tube is not cut out for the cross bar. not sure how far you are into it yet but you really only have 2 options. you can put the can as close to the existing hole as possible and deal with wire showing or you can drill all the way through the tube ( both sides) into the crossmember and then plug the outside hole. so basically have wires showing or have an extra hole in the tower.
