Replacing a stock 2001 SAN head unit

I have a 2001 SAN which still has the stock Clarion XMD-1 (I think), and is is starting to die on us. I've been thinking about upgrading to a newer head unit, and I was wondering what guys think would be a good one to go to. Preferably I'd like to get one that fits into the slot with little or no modification to the dash. It doesn't have to be anything really special, just reliable and with an auxilary input for an iPod. Should I stick with Clarion, or are there other brands I should look at?

    Thanks,
    Zach

XMD3 will be the same size and also has the auxilliary input. I would recommed that unit as a replacement.

be aware the CMD4 is not as wide, it will need a "gasket"

Thanks for that as well. I'll look into both, but am leaning more towards the XMD-3 because it is cheaper and requires no fabrication.

I like the CMD-4 - Not that hard to retro fit.

What did you make the gasket out of for your's?
