Alright so the 4th channel blew, on the PPI amp, I am not sure why. So I was forced to add a third amp. I hooked up a Wetsounds HT-4 to run the towers, a PD1000 running the sub, and switched the exile 400.4 to run the in boats. I had channel 1-2 running the bow at 4ohm, and channel 3-4 running the 4 in cabin speakers running at 2ohm. In the garage it sounded great. I ran it for about 20 mins and everything was great. Then I went on the water, and while the boat was running I was getting a ton of noise through the tower and in boat speakers. Then about 3 minutes into the boat being on the exile amp lost channel 3-4 also.

What is happening that is causing this to blow a single channel on the PPI and 2 channels on the exile? Also I don't know where the noise came from.

What have you done to confirm those chnls are inoperative? Are these new suspect amp chnls fed by the same RCA signal source as the previous suspect amp?

I switched the RCA wires from the channels that were still working and still did not get any sound. The 5 channel amp can be run of 1 set of RCA's, so I swapped the RCA and tried plugging directly into amp RCA input for the blown channel, still nothing. I swapped speaker wire from speakers that were not getting sound and tried a different set of speakers and got sound on good channel, and zero sound on bad channel. Once the PPI amp lost a channel I switched to the 4channel exile, It received its RCA signal in a pass thru from the wet sounds amp

Also I am going to bite the bullet and buy some new 6.5" in boat speakers. Are the WS650's worth the extra $100 over the WS65i's?

SO I bench tested both amps and they are working fine. I have no idea why the exile amp stopped working, the PPI amp stops producing sound randomly until I turn the gain.
