2001 Air Nautique speaker install

Ok I've read many forums on how people are putting the 6.5 speakers on there 2001 (or similar model) nautiues. The problem is all the posts I can find are older and the links in the topics showing how to do it are no longer good. Does anyone have a good thread that shows how to remove the old style speaks and install the new face mount ones? And also what I'll need to do the job??

If you are staying with 6.5's why not just install them from the back like the stock speakers? I did that with some Pioneer marines and it was easy and works good.

Just did the interiors today on a 2004 Super Sport. I took pics and plan on getting them uploaded tomorrow. It is a little labor intensive getting the side boards out and back in but nothing that cant be done (the port side is easier with help).
