need help

I'm an idiot when it comes to audio so I need your help. I have an '02 Air that I would like to add tower speakers to. I was thinking of getting the polk momo's off ebay. Do I need an amp? extra battery? All and any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

tmb, if you want to hear the speakers while riding, yes you are going to need an amp to drive them. If adding an amp just to drive the tower speakers is all you plan on doing, you shouldn't need another battery, unless you like to sit around all day with the boat off playing the stereo.

Get a large amp the polks can handle the power if you set your frequencies correctly. Kicker, Orion, even Elelmental designs
