sorry for digging up an older thread...but I just bought a 1993 S.N that doesn't have any speakers or any head unit installed in it. I bought the boat from a "ski camp" and they don't want their instructors listening to the radio, when they should be paying attention to novice skiers. Anyway...the holes are there on each side (one up front, and one in back) for speakers. My questions are.....what size speakers will fit the stock holes? and.....how do I remove that piece of upholstered wall on each side of the boat, to get the speakers installed, and new wiring run?? Any help would be great. Thanks

Most 6 1/2" speakers will work. The 6.75 Polks we were discussing take a little more work if you want to go loud. You will need to cut about a 5" hole in the vinyl (measure don't trust me!) and cut the foam behind the vinyl out about 1 1/2" bigger diameter than that.
Wiring is easy down the starboard side, but you'll need to go all the way around to get to port side.
