Best way to wire speakers to this amp

I know these questions get repetitive, but I would like to get some suggestions. I have a Zapco 360.4 amp that came with my boat when I bought it several years ago. I have never messed with the setup very much. However, I want to replace the 6 stock in boats with Wetsounds xs-65i RGB's. The amp is rated at 50w x 4 @ 4 ohms, 90w x 4 @ 2 ohms or bridged at 110w x 2 @ 8 ohms, 180w x 2 @ 4 ohms. I know this is an older amp and I am not sure how good it really is, but it works and I don't really want to replace it if possible. I would like to run all 6 speakers off this amp. Each speaker is rated at 60w RMS.

My initial thought was to run two speakers on their own channels @ 50w each and then run two speakers in parallel on each of the other two channels which would equal 45w to each of those speakers. I know this is not the 60w RMS that WS specs for the 65i, but will it make that big of a difference? Is there a better wiring alternative?

    17,
You have it right. The 60 watt speaker rating is the thermal power handling. You do not need to match that with the identical amplifier power. The difference between 45 watts and 60 watts is about a 1 dB difference, which is the smallest difference that one could discern in a whisper quiet environment....which just happens to be why decibels are rated in 1 dB increments.
