    Mic not working on WS420

Just purchased a N2M 2009 SANTE 210 and joined here...the boat has an upgraded sound system and includes a Wet Sounds WS420, however, the PA Mic does not seem to be functioning. If I understand correctly, when pressing the "mic" button, the tower speakers sound should mute and what is spoken into the mic should come thru the tower speakers. When I press my mic, nothing happens - music keeps playing from all in-boat and tower speakers. I checked and the Mic does seem to be plugged in properly to the back of the WS420 where the pigtail comes out. Any thoughts for troubleshooting? Is it possible the mic "switch" is bad? Seems like even if I didn't hear voice thru the tower speakers, I would at least get the music mute? Thanks for any insight!

I am sure you checked but make sure the mic volume knob is turned up, additionally double check the connection in the back unhook it and plug it back in. If that's all good and you have a friend with a 420 or you are tight with a local dealer ask if you can try their mic plugged into your unit.

Unplugging and plugging it back in seems to have solved it. Thanks!
