Hi all UK owner of a 2004 216 Air Nautique Team.
2 quick questions if possible.
1. Poor starting intermittently. Have changed filter so not that. Runs perfect when started but have to hold finger on start button a lot longer than I used to until she will start. Then seems a little sluggish to burst into life. Once running is perfect.
Have read low pressure fuel pumps can fail? Can hear pumps buzz when first pressing the button?
2. Original clarion Xmd3 head unit has started playing up this season. Worked fine when first started a few weeks ago after winterisation. But then last weekend wouldn't power up all weekend until we put the boat away Sunday evening then starting working perfectly. Checked all wiring and seems fine.
Was working fine again this weekend but then stopped powering up when we went out for our last set.
Have tried tried to reset. No luck. Seems to lose/get no power as not even able to eject CDs. Any ideas on what else to check before
I replace the head unit??
Aware the head units over 12 years old now but seems weird to work fine one minute then nothing the next and wiring seems fine on both the red and yellow wires?
Greatly appreciate any help...
