Thanks so much for spreading this info, can't wait to get one built for my boat. Do you happen to have any pics of your mounted on the boat in the water?

Mission posted this pic of the "sweet spot" on a 03' SAN. This is well below the water line! From replies on their twitter feed, people are starting to get them in the mail, it will be nice to hear actual user feedback. I will be making a "suck gate" but if the price point on the Delta comes down, I will be buying 1. Click image for larger version

You know, had they set a reasonable price (maybe even as high as $200), they would have had my money.

Instead, I now have a ghetto gate and they got $0.

              Bummer for all involved.

Has anybody messed with the angle of attack? Maybe pushing water more downward. Might be interesting to see what happens if slightly lifting that side of the boat causing a lift.

Loving this thread...so going start the surf thing now. Seems like a better(cheaper and highly functional) option than adding NSS at this time. Any one had any luck with the '13 230s?

Made one just like nr2014's with the black plastic Handle on Demand. It kept slipping off the back of the boat. Not losing suction just not stout enough to keep it from sliding. Attached it to the angled area like nr2014. So when I unhooked the tether from the platform bracket neither person that "we got it you're good" actually had it and it's sitting on the bottom of the river. Anyway no big deal out $20 and 15 minutes of time. So are the aluminum HODs holding better for everyone? If so I'll reorder one of those and try again. Anyone used one with the 4 suction cups? I hate surfing but everyone seems to want to take a surf set these days (bunch of pansies!!!) so I want to get this thing done and working so I don't have dump bags and shift people around to get them their stupid surf set in.

My aluminum handle isn't going anywhere. Pretty sure I could ski off of that thing. It's rock solid.
