NR2041 You are the MAN!!! Thanks for the dimensions. I picked up a "Sucker" this past weekend. Now need to cut up a cutting board and hopefully get the same results. Happy Surfing.

Thanks for the info! The only thing I don't quite get is where you drilled the release holes. Is it just behind the black part of the suction cup on each side?

look at the bottom of the 4th picture, I am not even sure they are necessary, but I went ahead and did it

Hey Nukemustang, are you planning to angle the gate on your sv-211?

yes, I hadn't thought too much of what angle to use, but just looking at the pics on the previous page, it seems to be about 60-70 degrees from perpendicular once installed.

Made my own version of the Ghetto Gate on Tuesday. Only got to test it in a minimum load condition (07 220 with factory rear tanks filled) but was happy with the length and push. Can't wait to test it fully loaded.

HOLY MOLY!! I tested mine out today... The wave was AMAZING!! Now time to build one with a metal sucker and some HPDE. nr2041's dimensions are legit.

Did you drill the relief holes all the way through the suction cups? It doesn't lose suction when you do that?

I just got my order in from Amazon, making mine tonight!

Here's mine thanks to nr2041. I used ss 5/16-18 x 3 1/2" bolts as the 3" bolts would have been just a bit short. Water testing on Wednesday.

I made one almost exactly like nr2041's and it did help the wave, but I still can't seem to get it dialed in. The wave is tall, but its very short and close to the boat and washes over very badly. I need to figure out how to distribute the weight in the boat.
