Got mine built based on nr2041 dimensions and water tested it on my 2006 sv211 yesterday. Very pleased with the results! Thank you nr2041!

I also built a SuckSurf this weekend, and it works great. The wave was very clean on our 2004 SANTE. What have you guys discovered is the best ballast layout and weight?

look s pretty good, but what about starboard side?? i have an 05 SV211 and will be making one too, but was wondering if you have picks or tested starboard?
          what was your ballast setup?

me i get pretty good on port but not so much on starboard which is why i want to build one too....

Amazon has this cutting board for $13.24. Not as cheap as Sam's, but delivered with the suction cups.
            LINK

My plan is to cut one on the mill with a couple of tweaks that milling lets me do easily. Awesome share, NR2041!

Jut realized the linked board is 18 X 12, not 24. Calculating to see if I can get the pieces out of it now.

There is plenty of material. Just laid it out in CAD.

no I would not drill through the suction cups themselves, pretty sure there would be no suction then, just the metal handle is all I drilled through

stock ballast works well for us with as little as three people in the boat, 10mph, keep boat as level as possible

Perfect! That's where I was confused as to how these things were staying on...building mine tonight, can't wait to test it out first thing Saturday morning on my '06 210.

Thank you Mr. nr2041, for the reply, and also for posting the design. Because of your R&D effort my kid went from not believing he'd ever like surfing behind our "little" boat to bragging about the wake. Very much appreciated.

for your boat I would open that angle up, remember we are mounting to an angled surface where as your mounting location has the cups perpendicular to the side of your boat, the idea is to mimic how malibu's surf gate works, move the plate back as far as possible and angle that plate back some

I did not try the starboard side yet. I am running stock rear tanks plus wedge sacs on top and a 650 pound sac in the ski locker. I think I may need more in the front but it worked pretty well for the first time out. The great part about it is having the boat evenly weighted. Good luck and share your results.

How are you guys locking down the suction cup that is by the plate? Seems like it is to small to get a hand in there...

I will try that. The angle on mine is only about 10 degrees. Any idea how many degrees yours is?

Its not hard to get your finger in there. We have stacked washers on the through bolts to make the spacing wider so you can get your finger in.

around 25 degrees, I made this one tonight for a buddy to try on his mojo 2.5, if mounted perpendicular to the hull it has roughly the same angle as mine when mounted to the angled back hull area
