    Polk UltraMarine

A big shout out to LakeLife (PN member) for turning me on to Polk Ultramarine for the new Linc system in my 2016 G! I was talking with him about my only real annoyance was no ability to have presets for the radio, especially XM. He said "are you using the Polk app on your phone?". Not sure if it was in the book or not but I had no idea there was an app that would control the head unit when connected by Bluetooth? You can quickly find channels and categories in the app. So cool! Anyway just a heads up in case anyone else was like me!

thanks for the tip. I will check it out. I have a new 230. my wife and daughter are having issues syncing from their iPhones. Any idea why they wouldn't be able to connect?

No clue. Bluetooth can be very finiky though. Sometimes in my car if my phone is in my pocket the Bluetooth will act up. Maybe try forgetting the link and re-trying the Bluetooth link?

Just to close the loop on this thread, the app will only work with Polk head units that are model UM1A. The "A" stands for app enabled. I assume my radio was an earlier version and is XM1 and will not work with the app.
