    Speaker issues

Hey all I'm out on the water today and my amp isn't operating. Only my 2 bow speakers are working. Can anyone help me out? Give me some things to check. I have a 2005 216 team addition clarion HU and amp and Polk speakers all stock system. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the 4 chnl amp that drives the 2 pair of main cabin speakers is not working. Need to check for a power light on the amp and next check for voltage on the main power cables.

I have no power to my amp. I checked the fuses on the amp they are good. Maybe the fuse supplying power to the amp is bad. I'll have to trace out the power source when I get home. Thanks for the tips

Checked that. I need to make sure I have power to the amp once I get home today. I see no lights on the amp right at the moment.

How did you test the fuse? Reason I ask - I had continuity, but it was just 'barely' gone - replaced the fuse and all is well.

visually inspected the fuse and or pulled the fuse out and checked continuity

theskunk sorry I just realized you said you checked continuity..... that's a good to know that even a "good" fuse could be bad....
