G21 sub placements and equipment

Hey just trying to get some input, purchased a 2016 G21 about a month ago. The boat came with the stock sound system, including 6 JL throughout inside and a JL IB 10 in passenger side compartment. just wondering has anyone added an additional sub in front of the drivers feet area. I am really looking for a lot more bass out of the boat. Or has anyone traded out the IB 10 for a IB 12, they run about $810.00, is this a cost effective option.

Do a search. There is a thread just fininishing up about 2 weeks ago where a guy swapped them out for 12's. For that cost, I would get a JL 12W6 in a sealed box. I did that in my last boat and it was a pretty decent jackhammer.

Make sure your current sub is tuned properly before you get too crazy. My amp was not tuned at all and I am much more pleased with it. I now put it on another amp and have given the 10 inch more power. Time will tell how I like that, but it seems to be louder now.
