My existing Clarion CMD4 recently died and I am replacing with M606 with new Sirus tuner, etc. However, I have learned that my existing Clarion remote at the helm is not compatible with new headunit so I ordered the MW1 remote. As nothing is going easy with this upgrade.........the new remote is a different size and shape as compared to the old remote and the chrome mounting plate for the old remote, located on the lower left of the helm, is of a specific shape to accommodate the old remote (photo of existing mounting plate attached). The new remote is round.
Question - is anyone aware of a replaceable mounting plate by Correct Craft which is made for the MW1 remote and a 2006 SV-211? Or, will this need to be a custom fabrication deal?
