We surfed for several hours and never had them shut off on us. I imagine there is enough splashing under the swim deck and starting and stopping when they get submerged enough to keep them cool under normal conditions. I've been incredibly happy with them so far.

I just installed a pair or SeaBlaze Minis and cannot believe how bright they are!! I could only imagine what the X's look like.

For anyone still trying to decide which Underwater Lights to go with, I saw this on the Tigé Forum and thought I'd share. Someone did a complete review of the Shadowcaster SCM-10's next to the Liquid Lumens Pipeline's. I mentioned before that I put the Liquid Lumen's lights on my G23. I have no regrets, they've been awesome. But this review is pretty interesting and I thought it was worth sharing, even though it's on another boat brand's forum:

i used these on these Spot lights on the port and starboard side of my stern under the swim platform, pointed out towards the wake slightly. https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...s-9-watt/1463/

and they used one of these on my wake gate tab, mounted dead center so i can adjust the angle of the light. this one is a flood light. also install two under my dad's 40" sport cruiser. https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...-60-watt/3315/
