I just purchased a pair of rev 10's and amp to drive them and a WS-420SQ. I have a 2005 216 team edition with the clarion amp and polk sub. I'm planning on just using the EQ to isolate the factory system from the tower speakers. From what I can gather the connections go as follows.
head unit to EQ
EQ to in boat speaker amp
EQ to tower speaker amp
EQ to sub amp
If I just leave the sub and boat speakers connected as is I would only have EQ to tower and EQ to boat speakers (including the sub) leaving one output channel open.
Does anyone see a problem with that?
Should I grab one more amp and isolate the boat speakers, sub, and tower speakers.
Also I believe the bow speakers are powered directly off the HU, should I get those powered through the amp that's driving the other boat speakers.
Thanks all
