Newer Clarion head units and Linc II

Clarion CMD7 head unit in my 2013 Nautique has dropped a channel. Does anyone know if the newer CMD8 or other newer Clarion units interface correctly with 2013 Linc II? Thanks.

Because I wanted Bluetooth functionality I replaced my CMD7 head unit with Clarions CMS2, it had other features as well that I will include in a bit. The answer is yes I am able to "plug and play" the new Clarion HU into my 2013 Nautique 210 w/LINC II. The additional features other than the mentioned Bluetooth were, the ability to have front/rear/sub inputs. Ability to fade from the in boats to the tower speakers, as well as full sub control all in the head unit. I still have the CMD7 put away I would sell you, but the CMS2 works very well and I recommend it to you. I forgot to mention I still have the ability to control the system with the MWI that is mounted in the transom.

That is exceptionally helpful RacingSims. I set up a third party bluetooth connection and remote tower and boat volume controls already. If you no longer need your cmd7, I am interested in purchasing it from you.
