Factory Alternator?

Can anyone tell me what the Amp output of the factory alternator in a '99 sport Nautique is? Can i find it on my alternator anywhere? ( I would just look but i don't have the boat in my possesion right now)...Thanks,

It's probably a 130A. I doubt it'd be stamped on the alternator anywhere. You might ask Shannon at Ski-N-Sports. I bet he'd know for sure. If he doesn't know I'm sure he could hook the meter up to it.

I would actually guess that it's 55-65 amps.

You may be right but I sure thought they had the beefier models in those. I could be wrong.

My guess comes from replacing the 55 amp in a 92' sport and having a 65 amp in our 02 super air. I could be dead wrong, but when I have looked at all the amps on SKIDIM, they all seem to be in that range. It would be awesome to have a 130 amp alt stock on your ride though, makes upgrading amps and such a snap instead of a complete overhaul with new alternator wires etc. 55 - 65 seems like the standard.

Ok... guess I was wrong. Go with 55-65.

Talked to shannon last night.....says its about 55amps
