If you are using the RCA 'Y's and have the amplifier input switch set to 4-channel then you should be good.
2 volts is definitely adequate in order to get full power from your amplifier. A quality and properly set-up line driver may lower the noise floor, may increase the dynamic contrast, but will not impact the maximum volume level.
Also, make sure you are bridging across the correct channels. So that channels 1 & 2 are both left and channels 3 & 4 are both right. So that the input correctly corresponds to the output.

Have you checked the aim of the pods? Are they up too high or firing right down at the water while under way? Are they pointing way out to the sides?

David, i was told the same thing by wetsounds and i have triple checked all the connections to verify everything is wired correctly. The gains are up at 80-90% and i can barley hear them behind the boat while surfing. On my buddies 210 with rev 8's and a JL amp i cant even hear myself think. My old 210 was the same way and i was running less wattage to the speakers. The next thing i guess i can try is swapping outputs from my head unit to see if maybe my head unit has a bad channel.

The amplifier input gain is only a sensitivity control and not a power control. You can achieve full amplifier power with a broad range of input voltages, both very small and very large. I would get this issue into the realm of measurements. Get a 1kHz sine wave test tone. Measure your HU RCA output voltage at 85%. If its 1.5 V or more, you're good. Then disconnect the speakers and measure the amplifier output voltage compared to the rated amplifier power, bridged mode, and output load. Given that you are not passing current through a speaker load during the test, the amplifier should easily output this number and more. Good results would then eliminate the HU and amplifier as an issue.

Are the compression drivers blown? What output on the CMD are you using? Check the front/rear fade and then the non-fade level if you are using it.Make sure the pai ris in phase with each other.

I would hope they aren't blown, i haven't even had them for 2 months and i haven't been able to get any volume out of them. Everything in the head unit is set to 0 across the board. Everything from the head unit rca's to the amp and from the amp to the speaker is in phase. Im using F/R on the head unit. Im going to switch to the other set of outputs next weekend and see if i have a bad channel on my head unit.

If the RCAs are configured correct and both speakers play at the same volume, you dont have a bad chnl. One speaker would play at a lower level or not at all.

If using the front or rear, hopefully not trying to use both, and FADE is centered, then the amp is getting full signal. However, you could try switching to the purple non-fade, just bump the level up to mid.

Tuned wrong, you can smoke a tweeter in 5 minutes. The prior setup would certainly result in low output, but know way of knowing any more than that. Dont want to rule anything out

I think i have narrowed it down to the deck. I took a rica-aux cord and plugged it into the Y's and plugged my phone in. Wow they really woke up. I tried both channels F and R off the deck and I'm getting very low output. I am going to replace the head unit and that should solve my problem.
