has anyone ever tried/has a tip on connecting a microphone to the radio AUX input? I would like to talk to my kids when they ride behind the boat.

    thanks

I tried this and it works, but.... you need to have a sony MD player(I think other companies make MD, but sony is the one I know) I have one that has 2 output ports and a mic (in) port. Basically plug the Mic into the MD Player, and the MD player into the Aux input, hit record and your talkin over the PA. (works well if you already have a recordable MD player, expensive if you dont because they sell for about 100$ new, possibly cheaper on e-bay) anyway it's what I use and works great. Good luck.

You can also get a wireless mic from Radio Shack, that works too.

I bought a previously owned Infinity 6100 system on ebay for $450, comes w/ pivoting tower speakers, amp and mic. Works great.
