I was really hoping that by now Clarion would have released a version of the CMD* that played cd's burned with MP3 files. Sorry about the acronym overload but I dont use an iPod, and instead have head units in my vehicles that play MP3CD's. On crutchfield.com, I notived that Kenwood now makes a marine stereo that seems to occupy the same opening that we have in our 210. So I am considering it.
Also, if anyone could give me a preview of what to expect when I remove the Clarion head unit, that would also be very much appreciated. I am wondering if any tools are required, any custom fabrication work, and that sort of thing. Your input is appreciated. If it is as simple as pulling some fascia parts off, and unscrewing the head unit, that info would also be appreciated.
