Tower speakers not working - no power to amp

Checked breakers and connections. Checked fade too. Stereo and cabin speakers working, but light not on at power amp and no sound from tower speakers. I assume I could tell if red circuit breaker on panel was tripped. Pressed several times but in same position as rest of the breakers.

Do you have a separate amp for the tower speakers? Assuming it is a (factory) Polk there are two fuses on the amp. One or both may be blown.

Did you check the power wire (or ground wire) going to the amp. Maybe it has come loose.

There is also a remote wire... Usually blue, make sure it didn't get disconnected

It is a Polk from the factory. I checked the fuses and they appear fine. Also checked all wires. Almost needed a bilge pump under the spotter's seat to soak up the sweat from checking in this weekend's heat!

I assume the breaker at the control panel is push button - a red button breaker is assigned to the tower amp. Anybody has experience with those?

Good point. Trace it back to the HU to make sure it didn't get cut.

Or just use a voltmeter. It should read 12 volts when the HU is energized. Do the same for the main power and ground.

If you have power to the main power and ground, and fuses are all intact, and the turn on wire is getting power, the amp is broken.
