I am adding another set of 8.8 JL speakers to my tower. The speakers have a connector on them, but my tower wires do not. Is this a part I have to get from Nautique or JL. Would I be able to find it local?

I bet it's a Deutsch connector . Go to parts store with speaker. You will need the pins as well
I'm not sure I spelled correctly but it's pronounced that wayCurrent Correct Craft Boat

I guess I really don't need a connector at all , now I think about it. These are never coming off my boat, I can cut the current connector off the speakers and use some good butt connectors with water proof heat shrink- then stuff them back in tower. They give you plenty or wire length. They could probably be cut and installed many different times. Does that seem like a problem?2016 G23

Yes they are Deutsch DT Series 4 pin connector 16-20 gauge. I got them from amazon sold gifts universe is anyone is doing this. I had to buy both male and female side for 10.76 per set.
Second question, Do I change any settings on my elite prep amp. I believe it is a 8 channel amp. When boat came from factory only channel 1 and 2 were occupied for the two tower speakers. Now I have channel 3 and 4 occupied for the two other tower speakers.
All four speakers have power- but are they the correct settings?2016 G23
