Hey all. I bought my first SN a couple weeks ago. it's a 1993 NWZ. Anyway, I purchased it from a water ski school, and the first thing they do when they get a boat is take out the radios and speakers, as they want their drivers concentrating on the skiers and not listening to music.
Ayway, my combing pads have holes in them, where speakers can go. I assume this will be a 6.5" surface mount type of speaker?? Also, there is a cutout for the head unit UNDER the rear bench seat. Is this a common location? THere is no mounting stuff in the glove box, that I normally see. Should I mount in back under the rear bench seat as it was originally?
Any help would be great. I am not into the big booming, thunder clappin' systems..just want a nice radio, that can maybe hook up and Ipod to, and 4 decent speakers back in the empty spots on the combing pads.
