Has anyone had issues with the stereo system not responding at all? Today I experienced the volume go to the high setting when the throttling up, but when I came back to idle the volume stayed there and you could not turn it down, or OFF. Basically I had to turn the boat off and turn off the battery switch to get it to stop. Then upon rebooting everything the radio would not come on at all. It just says press to turn on and nothing happens.I tried the Linc, the transom power button and the actual Polk deck in the glovebox and nothing works. Any thoughts? I thought after pressing in the code and hitting stop to shut the linc system down,, then killing battery power it would eventually reset itself. I've done this before when I couldn't adjust the volume level or the Bluetooth was not responding and it was jumping between Bluetooth and AM. Maybe after sitting a while it will reset, I don't know, but it's pretty frustrating. Also I notice that the rotary knob when adjusting the volume doesn't always turn the volume up, it is very unresponsive and a lot of times you have to really turn it to get it to go up or down.

Update...the yellow circuit breaker for the amps was unknowingly turned off in an effort to stop the music madness! Once I figured that out the music is back. I'm still a bit concerned that the intermittent locking up and Bluetooth issues will continue but hopefully there is a software update that can fix these problems. Sorry to press the panic button! -
I've had the volume lock up a few times and have simply restarted the boat to get it working again. You could also try hitting the stereo button twice in a row to mute the system, not sure if that works when it's locked up though.Comment

Basically when it happens it's completely unresponsive. You cannot turn it up, down, off, change sources etc. I brought an older gentleman out who used to work for IBM and he said "oh great I'm on a boat with everything controlled on the touch screen?..whatever you do, don't try to update the firmware of your boat and not be able to drive it" I think he might be onto something!Comment

I've had this happen too. I was successful with shutting off the battery and turning back on.

There is an update that addresses the Bluetooth issue for sure. Possibly the volume as well.

I got the most recent update and my bluetooth is still atrocious. Absolutely horrific. Music on the phone and the **** pebble watch frequently stops working and I have to completely shut down the boat to get them working again. I'm getting so upset that my confidence in Nautique is waining. I almost put my fist through the LINC screen the other day. Are you sure you have the latest update? Do you have the warning screen that you must acknowledge on your LINC now when it boots up?

Our Linc system on the 2016 G23 has been very glitchy since day one. Still trying to get issues resolved.Comment

I sent an email today to the technician at my dealership about the glitches with the Linc and I will report back if he has any input.Comment

While our G23 was in the shop for some other warranty work, they did a reflash of the firmware to see if that resolves the volume/Bluetooth issues. If it still continues he recommended that we swap the Polk deck out to see if that is what's causing the problem. I'll find out this weekend if the reflash did any good.Comment
